Gordon W. Ulen, CPA – Treasurer of North Shore InnoVentures and of the North Shore Technology Council.  Gordon’s private practice serves a range of clients, offering tax, accounting and investment advisory services to individuals and businesses.  He is currently managing the tax practice for the local office of a large independent broker dealer. He specializes in alternative tax advantaged investments and preparing individual, partnership, non-profit, trust, estate and corporate returns.  Previously, Mr. Ulen held the position of director of finance for two of the region’s most prominent non-profit cultural centers, the Wang Center for the Performing Arts in Boston and the New England Aquarium.  He also was chief financial officer for Staats International, Inc. of Cambridge, MA, a professional services firm specializing in design and construction project management.  Mr. Ulen earned his B.S. in business administration at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and his M.B.A. from Suffolk University.  He holds Massachusetts Series 66 and Series 7 (Notary Public) licenses.
