Former NSIV member Atentiv is making news with an announcement that it has a game in clinical trials designed to be used instead of medication for kids with ADHD. “We’re not using chemicals to effect the neurons, we’re rewiring the circuit… that rewiring is learning,” said Eric Cordon, CEO of Atentiv. The medical game is called Attentive Therapeutics and application to the FDA for marketing approval is expected in 2017. A computer game called ATENTIVmynd Games is another product being developed to help any child with attention issues. Watch for it to be released sometime later this year.
