“By leveraging freely available government data and tools, entrepreneurs and innovators are helping to build the clean energy economy,” said Todd Park, U.S. Chief Technology Officer and Assistant to the President. “Innovations like those featured today at the Energy Datapalooza can help Americans conserve energy, save money, and advance a safer and cleaner future.”
The 2014 Energy Datapalooza is sponsored by the White House, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the General Services Administration and is meant to highlight private-sector innovators harnessing the power of data to build the clean energy economy.
According to CrowdComfort Chief Executive Officer B. Eric Graham, “It is an honor to be highlighted as one of the private sector companies helping to build the clean energy economy. CrowdComfort was conceived at the Boston Cleanweb Hackathon, which was also supported by the White House and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. We are immensely grateful to the White House, Department of Energy and General Services Administration for their continued support of the clean energy economy and for companies like our own. We are pleased to showcase how far we have come from that first ideation session in 2013,” concluded Graham.
Since its inception in 2013, CrowdComfort has been closing the gap between human communication and energy data by aggregating occupant feedback and delivering actionable reports to facility managers. Through its ongoing success, it continues to prove that humans are our most powerful source of information for concrete ways to reduce our energy consumption and build a more sustainable world.
